Tokyo-Tiger offers unisex, men’s, women’s, and kids’ styles. Because each garment is designed with different cuts and fits, sizing may vary slightly between categories.
If this is your first time purchasing from Tokyo-Tiger, we recommend selecting your size based on your body measurements and carefully referring to the size chart provided on each product page.
Our simple guide below will help you measure correctly and choose the size that fits you best.
How We Measure Our Garments
All measurements on our website are taken with the garment laid flat on a surface.Lay the garment flat and measure the key areas shown in the diagram below.
The four main measurements used on most Tokyo-Tiger apparel are:
- Chest
- Shoulder
- Sleeve Length
- Garment Length
Measurement Details
Chest:
Lay the garment flat and measure straight across from armpit to armpit.
Multiply the number by 2 to get the full chest circumference.
Shoulder Width:
Measure from the edge of one shoulder seam to the other shoulder seam across the back of the garment.
Sleeve Length:
Measure from the shoulder seam to the end of the sleeve cuff.
Garment Length:
Measure from the highest point of the shoulder (next to the collar) straight down to the bottom hem.
Important Notes
- To help you choose the correct size, all measurements on our website are taken directly from the garment itself, not from body measurements.
- All garments are measured while laid flat.
- Due to manual measurement, there may be a 1–2 inch variation.
- For the most accurate result, we recommend measuring a similar garment you already own and comparing it with our size chart.
Please note that each Tokyo-Tiger category may have a slightly different cut and fit, so always check the size chart on the product page before ordering.
Helpful Fit Tips
If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose according to your preferred fit:
- If you prefer a looser streetwear style, consider sizing one size up.
- If you prefer a regular or slimmer fit, choose the size closest to your measurements.
- Unisex styles are designed to fit a wide range of body types and are typically slightly relaxed. Please refer to the detailed measurements in the size chart to select the size that best suits your preferred fit.
